Pursuant to Section 27 of the Petroleum Act, 2015, the Nomination Committee hereby invites qualified candidates to apply for consideration to the appointment to the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Pursuant to Section 17 of the Petroleum Act, 2015, the Nomination Committee shall consider for appointment to the Board of Directors of PURA suitable candidates with the following qualifications:

a) Citizen of Tanzania and graduate of accredited University; 
b) Person of moral character, proven integrity, and professional competence; 
c) At least ten (10) years experience in petroleum geosciences or engineering; health, safety and environment maters; law; business administration and management; and finance and economics or chemical processing or refinery engineering; 
d) Knowledge of the petroleum industry; 
e) No conflict of interest with the Authority’s activities; and 
f) Available for service as and when required.

Applications from suitable candidates enclosing certified copies of relevant certificates and Curriculum Vitae (CV) should reach the undersigned within fourteen (14) days from the date of this advertisement.
