The National institute for Medical Research (NIMR) is a public health research institution in Tanzania, established by the Parliament Act No. 23 of 1979 as a parastatal organization Under the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare with a mission to conduct, coordinate, regulate and promote scientifically and ethically sound, high quality health research and deliver evidence-based information that is responsive to the needs of human well being
The Institute is looking for qualified dynamic and motivated Tanzanian candidates to fill the following posts
Driver II-I post NIMR TABORA (Residents of Tabora encouraged to apply)
Holder of form IV national Examination Certificate with am C valid driving licence, Trade Test Grade II (motor vehicle mechanics) or its equivalent and a dean record in driving for at least three years.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
To drive all types of NIMR vehicles.
To ensure that all vehicles and accessories are in good conditions
To undertake minor repairs
To ensure that vehicles are serviced regularly.
To record in the Log Book all trips/journeys made
To ensure vehicle is clean all the time
To perform any other related duties as assigned
