We are seeking a Project Manager to manage the strategy development and 
implementation of our Cardiology Care and Prevention program in 
Tanzania. </span></div>

In the past year, Touch has started a program funded by Medtronic 
Philanthropy and other donors to apply a health system strengthening 
approach to Cardiology and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) control in the 
Lake Zone of Tanzania. We initially conducted a rigorous assessment of 
the RHD needs in the Sengerema district of Tanzania to inform the 
development of our strategy and interventions on the ground. We are also
 working with specialist cardiologists from the U.S. to bring their 
expertise and improve health services at our flagship institution, 
Bugando Medical Centre (BMC), the referral hospital serving about a 
third of the Tanzanian population.</span></div>

The Project Manager will take on the Cardiology Care and Prevention 
program from the initial assessment phase and work with Touch 
leadership, technical advisors and  Tanzanian partners to develop a 
sound strategy and implementation plan. The Project Manager will be 
responsible for the overall project, managing the day-to-day 
implementation of the initiatives on the ground and ensuring the project
 delivers the expected impact to the Tanzanian people. He/she will also 
assume substantial cross-functional responsibilities to meet strategic 
program objectives in collaboration with program leadership and 
management. The Project Manager will also manage partners and donors, 
and monitor activities on the ground and report to management.</span></div>

He/she will work under the overall direction of our Country Director, a 
former McKinsey Senior Engagement Manager, located in Tanzania.

The Board of Trustees of the National Social Security Fund has set aside
 funds for the operation during the  Financial year 2015/2016. It is 
intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover 
eligible payment under the contract for the Proposed Construction of 
Water Supply Network at Dungu Farm.<br />
<br />
2. The Board of Trustees of National Social Security Fund now invites 
sealed Tenders from eligible National Civil Contractors or Water Supply 
Contractors registered in Class II and above for carrying out the 
Proposed Construction of Water Supply Network at Dungu Farm<br />

3. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding speci ed in the Procurement<br />
Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No.446 and is open to all 
Tenderers as de ned in the Regulations unless otherwise stated in the 
Tender Data Sheet.<br />

4. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and
 inspect the Tendering Document at the o ce of the Procurement 
Management Unit, National Social Security Fund, P.O Box 1322, Dar es 
Salaam, 7th Floor, from 09.00am to 05.00pm on Mondays to Fridays

BACKGROUD<br />
The Nelson Mandela African Institution Science and Technology (NM-AIST) has been established<br />
under Tanzania’s Universities Act No. 7 of 2005, and as part of a network of African Institutions of<br />
Science and Technology (AISTs) in Sub-Saharan Africa. The NM-AIST 
envisions becoming a World-Class Institution of Higher Learning 
dedicated to the pursuit and promotion of excellence in science and 
engineering, and their applications for economic growth and sustainable 
development in Africa. The NM-AIST endeavors to deliver and promote high
 quality and internationally competitive teaching and learning, research
 and innovation, and public service in science, engineering and 
technology leveraging on entrepreneurship for enhanced value addition to
 people and natural resources, with a view to stimulating, catalyzing 
and promoting economic growth and sustainable development in SubSaharan 
Africa.<br />

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has granted NM-AIST employment permit Ref.<br />
No. BC.10/264/01/10 to employ 26 staff.<br />

2. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ACADEMIC POSITIONS<br />
Applications for employment are invited from suitably qualified 
individuals (Tanzanians and nonTanzanians) to fill 19 academic 
positions. The required qualifications, salary scales, areas of<br />
specialization, and duties and responsibilities are as shown in Table 1.<br />

annual plan and budget and strategic plan. Supervise provision of 
quality reproductive Health and Family Planning Services and all other

 Reinforce maintaining of the health policies, protocols and standards 
of the centre as per Ministry of Health /Marie Stopes International and

 Maintain proper records and make sure that appropriate reports 
pertaining to STI, HIV, MTUHA, Bills etc. are timely and accurately

the prescribed timelines including escalation of customer related

arranged at all times.<br />• Ensure prompt and effective response to customer telephone calls.<br />• Up sell and cross sell banks products to potential and existing customers who visit the Branch.<br />• Ensure confidential handling of customer transactions, interactions and correspondence.<br />• Ensure strict adherence to the tenets of KYC.<br />Operational Efficiency<br />• Undertake data entry on collection of charges for statements issued over-the-counter and approved reversals;<br />• Receive local cheques and ensure completeness and check that they are properly drawn and are not stale or post-dated;<br />• Receiving and posting in-house cheques<br />• Receiving and stamping all inward and outward cheques<br />• Ensure all cheque details are correct before processing payment of inward cheques e.g signatures.<br />• Tallying balance with tellers at the end of the day<br />• File cheque book requisition appropriately.<br />•
 Ensure account opening and identification documentation comply with the
 banks policies and procedures, BOT regulations and other legal 
requirements.<br />• Verify and confirm account opening forms are properly
 filled and follow-up to ensure all supporting/required documentation is
 received.<br />• Follow-up on outstanding account opening documentation with clients within agreed timelines.<br />•
 Ensure all identification documents i.e Identity Cards/Passports 
provided by clients for account opening are certified with the 
originals; share feedback received with the Branch Manager<br />• Ensure 
all foreign currency deals are processed on the date of the deal and 
with an appropriate value date and communicate to treasury 
department(TT&TISS)<br />• Ensure that all relevant registers are 
maintained in line with the Bank’s Procedures and Policies Manual. ( i.e

Driver II (1- Post)<br />

Entry Qualifications:<br />

Holder of an Ordinary Secondary School Certificate with passes in 
English, and holder of class “C” driving license with certificate of 
driving training from a<br />
recognized Institute. Must have undergone motor drivers course at a 
recognized institution and posses “Trade Test” Grade III (mechanicals), 
with at least<br />
three years of class “C” driving experience.<br />
Duties and Responsibilities<br />
• Driving cars and buses as well as other motor machines.<br />
• Ensuring that fuel, oil, water, tires and the general state of the car has been checked before use.<br />
• Providing driving services to BMC staff.<br />
• Transporting parcels from BMC offices to other offices, transport terminals and vice versa.<br />
• Maintaining the log-book for each and every trip.<br />
• Ensuring that the vehicle is serviced as planned.<br />
• Carrying out small repairs if the vehicle breaks down.<br />
• Reporting for major preventing repairs to the Transport Officer<br />
